5 Years

Today is Aaron's and my 5th anniversary. Wow. 5 years sounds like a long time, but it has gone by so quickly. Yet SO much has happened in the last 5 years. I love my husband more every day. He is such an incredible husband and father. I'm so lucky to get to spend this life with my very best friend in the world.

Tonight we are just keeping it simple. Some friends of ours are watching Trent while we go to dinner at Perry's Steakhouse and Grille, which is a Houston-based restaurant. Then depending on what kind of desserts they have, we'll either get dessert there or we're going to Cold Stone Creamery! :) We have been dying to have Cold Stone for the longest time now, but we have just not made it there. So we may very well be leaving the snooty steakhouse to go to Cold Stone!

Last warehouse day

Yes, today was my last "truck day" ever! Not gonna miss that one bit! I have tomorrow and Saturday off, and then I'm working for probably a half day on Sunday, and then a full day on Monday, and then I'm DONE! What a relief!

I contacted a Mom's Club here in League City and asked about joining. I got a voicemail from their membership VP yesterday, so I am going to call her back tomorrow and get some more info. I think it will be awesome to meet other stay at home moms in my area. I think I would go nuts if I tried to go at this completely alone and shut off from the world!

That's all I got for now!

Baby boy in 3D and baby shower pics too

I'll get right to it! Here's Baby Drew in 3D!

Sleepy guy

He is measuring (overall) at 34w 4d, but his head is 35w 5d! Yikes! Please pray for me!

Some other news--in the last couple of days, we have found that he really responds to Trent's voice and laughter. It's the coolest thing! These boys are gonna love each other so much! I can't wait.

Here are some pics from my baby shower that was on June 7 (I know it's like 2 weeks later, but I've been way busy!)

In other happy news, I now have 6 more days until I stop working. And I am only working 4 of those days (including today). Tonight is my last night to close (I will NOT miss that one bit!)
Yay! Can't wait!
