Happy Birthday Trent!

Today is Trent's 5th birthday! I cannot believe that my baby boy is 5 years old! He will be starting kindergarten this year! My, how time flies. I will have pictures to post, but have not uploaded them yet. Just wanted to capture this moment for blogging purposes!

Trent is a big boy at about 45 pounds or so and about 3 1/2 feet tall. He is so smart, I can't even begin to list all of the things he knows. He may be too smart for my and Aaron's own good! The logic of a 5-year-old is sometimes astounding! Yet he is still quite irrational at some times. It's hard to balance the fact that he is a big brother and will have the responsibility of someone looking up to him and doing everything he does very soon, while still remembering that he is a little boy. He is a sweet, talkative, yet shy in certain situations, infuriating (yes, I said it!), hilariously funny, handsome, brilliant boy! The last 5 years since I became a mother have been the most rewarding years of my life, and it has been the most fun I have ever had! I love my Trent!
